Appliance replacements are quite common for most properties. When choosing an appliance, the team can assist by providing recommendations from our preferred vendor (Now Appliance). If the client has a specific make/model that was not provided by the team, they can send the make/model and pricing and the team will reach out to Now Appliance to ask them to match the price. When using Now Appliance, the team will handle the entire process from beginning to end (ie. quoting out replacement models, making payment for the appliance, coordinating with the vendor for the installation, and confirming the install was completed).
Now Appliance is a vetted contractor and we stand behind the service they provide. Due to historical issues coordinating replacements with Lowes, Home Depot, Sears, etc., the team is not authorized to contract with these vendors. Because they outsource the install work to other third party installers, they tend to have very strict requirements in terms of the actual appliance replacement, which can cause further issues. If an owner chooses to work with a different Vendor, there is a high likelihood that they will provide a large window of time for the replacement and a member the team will be required to allow access. To dedicate a team resource to be available for a time-window, requires an additional cost that is billed at an hourly rate.
