HVAC Repairs

HVAC issues whether heat or air conditioning can be more complex that other standard repairs.  We take pride in ensuring that we are educating every owner we work with to provide as much useful information as we can.  Over the years, we have vetted out different contractors to find techs that truly understand HVAC repairs and replacements.  The terminology used by the industry can be confusing so we attempt to put provide easy to understand, concise information.

Our Philosophy: When we send one of our preferred HVAC vendors to assess an issue, the approach they use is to identify the possible cause of the issue, and if needed, repair or replace the problem part to get the issue resolved.  With some HVAC repairs, the tech needs to work through a process of elimination to identify the exact cause of the issue.  This approach helps to ensure that only the necessary repairs are completed to help owners reduce overall costs.  As with most HVAC issues, the tech will guarantee the work that they completed but they cannot guarantee how long a system will continue to run.  The reason for this is that there are many different components that can fail on an HVAC system over time.

For example:
a. If a part was replaced on the HVAC unit and two months later, the same part fails, our tech will fix or replace at no additional cost.
b. If a specific part was replaced and then two months later another part fails, this would not be under warranty.

Owner's responsibility: We work for the owner of the property and our responsibility is to educate the clients we work with.  Ultimately, it is the owner's decision to repair/replace a defective item in the property, it is important to understand the responsibility as the owner of the property.  While it can be frustrating to have a system that fails, it is necessary to complete the repair in a timely manner.  Not repairing a heating or air conditioning system can create potential liability for an owner.
